Boost your Business with the Co-op Connections Program
Dear Business Owner:
Like many communities, this area supports the “buy local – stay local” campaign to encourage residents to look in their own back yard for products and services before shopping elsewhere. When this is accomplished, everyone wins and the community prospers. Roanoke Electric Cooperative (REC) – your local, member-owned electric cooperative serving Bertie, Halifax, Hertford, Northampton, Gates, Perquimans and Chowan counties – also supports this campaign and offers you an avenue to promote your business without spending advertising dollars.
The Co-op Connections Program is an easy way for your business to reach customers in your local area, throughout the state and those traveling from other states. There is no out-of-pocket advertising expense to participate. Simply commit to a discount offer (any that you are currently providing, or a new one), and agree to accept the Co-op Connections Membership Card.
In exchange for your participation, we promote your business and discount offers to our members at no cost to you.
Your business benefits by:
• Increased traffic – Simply display the “We’re a participating business” decal. REC members are happy to support local businesses, plus you’ll get exposure to millions of other Touchstone Energy cooperative members nationwide. • Increased visibility – You will receive FREE listings in all our member communications about the program, including listings in bill inserts, www.roanokeelectric.com, www.connections.coop, and more. • Increased image – Co-op Connections merchants are seen as good community partners. The Co-op Connections Membership Card encourages members to shop locally. • Flexibility – You set your own parameters with the Co-op Connections Program. Decide what discount or offer you wish to use to attract the customers you need to grow your business. • Ease of enrollment – Click here to submit an application.
The program is FREE to participating businesses.
If you would like to participate, submit an online application using the link above so we can include your business in our promotions. You can reach me at 252-209-2236 or by email at email@example.com.
